Words of Affirmation for Teachers on Summer Break

This topic has been weighing heavy on my heart this week. Summer is a time for fun and relaxation with family and friends, but for me it can also be a season of struggle. I often find myself in a tug of war deciding if I should have a summer job or not. This is a small problem in the grand scheme of life, but it does take a toll sometimes on my mental health. Not going to a job everyday can make me feel worthless even though I know that I am not. So much of what we think about ourselves can depend upon our career and how much we give to others. I thought it would be a good idea to come up with some words of affirmation to help get me through my funk. I also thought that if I am feeling this way that there might be other teachers out there that are too.

5 affirmations for teachers on summer break

1. It is okay to rest

2. I can enjoy things that aren't productive

Thank you for taking the time to read through these quick affirmations. I truly hope that they can help you like they help me. Just by taking the time to read this post you are already seeking ways to better take care of yourself and that is something to be proud of. I hope you have an awesome, worry-free summer!
